Rachel Everett: Nursing School Grad

FILED IN: Uncategorized

I had the great pleasure of photographing my beautiful cousin Rachel for her nursing school graduation last week. She has spent four very long and hard years completing her degree to reach her goal of becoming a nurse and I could not be more proud of her! Her pinning ceremony will be on May 5th and I know she is so thrilled to walk across that stage and receive her pin. Here are some of her individual shots that we captured.

Rachel’s grandmother graduated from the Danville Regional’s nursing program and worked as a nurse for over 30 years. Our grandmother passed away over a year ago and she left Rachel with her nursing pin, a letter that our grandmother wrote to her parents while in nursing school, and her nursing school ring. Grandma always wanted one of her grandchildren to become a nurse; she would be so proud and thrilled to see you graduating form nursing school, Rachel! Here are some of the shots that incorporated our grandmother’s nursing school keep sakes.

Lastly, Rachel wanted to incorporate one of her very best friends into the photoshoot! Rachel told me that she would have never made it through nursing school without Lauren and that she couldn’t imagine taking her pictures without her. I love some of the shots that I got of them together; they are just the cutest!

I hope you love these pictures as much as I do!

xoxo Brittany
