Y’all, I cannot tell you how much I love these two! They’re the sweetest, most genuine couple and they are so precious to me. As soon as you meet both Rachel and Michael, you just fall in love with their easy-going personalities and kindness. It’s also so obvious how in love these two are; it just exudes out of them! I am so honored to have been able to capture their love story and be a part of their wedding day.

Rachel and Michael’s February 17, 2018, wedding was held at The Kyle House in Fincastle, VA. The day of their wedding called for rain all day, but they both rolled with it and were full of joy all day. Here are some of my favorites from their wedding day.

 

Rachel’s bridesmaids made these centerpieces! I mean WHAT?!? I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful they were. These ladies killed it!

These two are so madly in love; you can see it all over their faces. The best part of my job is witnessing and capturing such love.

This crew danced the night away with some killer dance moves!

And the moment you all have been waiting for…

 

 

The background story to what you’re about to witness: I was photographing the guys the morning of the wedding when Rachel and Michael’s wedding planner told me that the girls were in their “getting ready” robes and ready for their pictures. As soon as she mentioned the girls had special robes, the guys were very offended and distraught as to why they didn’t get their own special robes. They continued to bring up the fact that they didn’t have robes throughout the day and I jokingly told them at the reception that they should go steal the girls’ robes and come downstairs in them. Well, my joke was taken very seriously and they couldn’t wait to go upstairs and put on the girls’ robes. The even added to the plot; they were going to have Rachel sit in a chair in the middle of the dance floor while they danced downstairs and around her to the Magic Mike theme song in these glorious robes. This has been the highlight of my wedding photography career and I can’t thank them enough.
