Lauren and Parker’s engagement session is one of my absolute favorites to date; not only because the sunset was impeccable, but because Lauren is my best friend in the whole world and my college roommate! Lauren and I met in our freshman English class in college and we’ve been pretty much inseparable since. We lived together during our junior and senior years of college and for the first year after we graduated college. Lauren is the most loving, kindhearted, fun, and joyful person I know. She is the true definition of a God fearing woman and the best friend that anyone could ask for you. If you’ve met her, you know how truly blessed you are to have her in your life!

I remember praying for a God fearing man to come along that had the same passion for life and adventure as Lauren and that would love Lauren with a fierceness that she deserved. And low and behold, God always brings along the right person when you least expect it and when you aren’t even looking. I still remember when Lauren called me to tell me that she was going to hang out with this guy from work; I could tell that she was into him. I also remember meeting Parker for the first time and instantly knowing that this was the man God intended for Lauren to marry. I told Matt, my husband, as soon as we left that Parker was perfect for Lauren and I just had this feeling that they were going to get married some day. Parker has the most infectious laugh and a sense of humor and personality that matches Lauren so well. I couldn’t have designed a better match for Lauren and I’m so thankful that Parker treats  my best friend so perfectly!

I could not have been more excited when Lauren and Parker asked me to take engagement portraits for them. We headed to Glass Hill Venue for their session and we were greeted by the most beautiful light and sunset!
