Michelle and Scott’s Glass Hill Venue Summer Wedding

FILED IN: Weddings

Michelle and Scott are married!! These two are so sweet and just so evidently in love. Michelle and Scott are super easy going and were just so ecstatic to be getting married, which is my absolute favorite type of couple to work with. They had a beautiful wedding at one of my favorite venues, Glass Hill. Michelle and Scott had so many incredible friends and family members there with them to celebrate their marriage. They were blessed with such a beautiful sunny day with stunning blue skies and an incredible sunset. The wedding day was filled with so many smiles, happy tears, sentimental moments, laughs, and sheer joy.

Here are some of my favorites from their wedding day; I hope you love them as much as I do!

Michelle looked absolutely stunning and her dress could not have been more beautiful! Her dress was made of stunning floral lace with an incredibly long train that made it a show stopper!

Michelle wore her grandmother’s ring for the wedding and I loved that personal touch in her jewelry!

How cute are these customized cups for Michelle and her bridesmaids!??

Hannah from Better Than Bare playing double duty as the bride’s makeup artist and her bridesmaid. She did such an amazing job!

That train made my heart flutter!

Michelle did a first look with her girls and it could not have been sweeter! Michelle started crying as soon as her girls saw her; it was so sweet!

Scott wrote Michelle a song as part of her gift and it was so incredibly sweet!

He also bought her a gorgeous purple gemstone necklace that fits perfectly with the wedding colors!

Southern Hospitality Florals did such an amazing job on the florals! They were gorgeous!

Michelle chose to do a first look with her dad and this is always one of my favorite moments on a wedding day!

Isn’t the tie that Michelle gave her dad, so precious!?

So Michelle had a super-secret and special surprise planned out for Scott. She had two gifts for Scott; the first gift to throw him off and the second gift that only her and her sister knew about.

For the first gift, Michelle gave Scott cigars with custom wrappings that instructed Scott to open each individual cigar on their wedding day, on their first anniversary, when he finds out they’re having their first baby, and many other special moments to come in their future. She also gave him some socks, and a guitar stand.

Scott opened the guitar stand last and on it was a note that said: “do you really think this is all that I would give you?”

That’s when Michelle’s sister walked out with the real gift that had been kept a secret from everyone.

First Look No Peaks are also such a special time on the wedding day that allows couples to pray together and over their marriage while keeping the tradition of not seeing one another before the wedding. I was so happy that Michelle and Scott chose to take this moment to themselves. It immediately calms all of the nerves and just brings a wave of peace to both the bride and groom before walking down the aisle.

Michelle and Scott’s moms were all tears when Scott started walking down the aisle.

Sometimes it’s hard being little and being the center of attention.

Michelle’s dad is so cute with his thumbs up to all of their guests as he walked his daughter down the aisle.

Michelle and Scott chose to do a tree-planting ceremony in which they took dirt from both of their homes and combined it into their new family tree’s planting pot.

the cutest flower girl and ring bearer!

One of my all-time favorite bridal portraits!

This sunset!

These guys know how to party and the dancing definitely did not disappoint!

Michelle and Scott, thank you both so much for inviting me to capture your wedding day; it was truly an honor! I loved every second of your wedding and I’m so thankful to have you both as one of my BTP couples! I wish you both nothing but the best and I’m so excited to see where you both go in your marriage and life.
