Heather’s Bridal Portraits are one of my absolute favorites to date! Not only was it beautiful, but we were outrunning a MASSIVE thunderstorm throughout the entire session. We knew that rain was in the forecast, but it wasn’t supposed to start until way later in the night. Heather had already purchased her bouquet, so she wanted to continue with the session, especially because the chance of rain was almost nonexistent until around 10 pm. However; in typical Lynchburg fashion, it started raining much earlier than expected. As soon as we arrived at Glass Hill, I could hear the thunder in the distance and see the storm clouds way in the distance. We knew we were going to have to work fast, and that we did! The sun was still shining behind part of the mountains ane storm clouds were blowing in on the other side, which made the MOST beautiful sky! I could not have dreamed up a more stunning background for her portraits! We ended up finishing literal seconds before the rain started; thank the Lord!
Here are some of my favorites from Heather’s bridal portraits!
Heather’s brother passed away when she was in high school, so one of her requests was to honor his memory in her bridal portraits. I could not have been more honored to capture these memories for her and her family. These are the moments that make my job so special.
