Kaylee & Mason are the absolute sweetest and I’m so excited that we were able to do their Raven’s Roost engagement session from last week. They are getting married on Halloween this year and I can’t wait. As you may or may not know, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and I’m so excited to spend the day with them!

Kaylee’s number one request for their engagement session was to choose a location with beautiful views and I think Raven’s Roost exceeds that! I still am in awe of how beautiful this place is every time I go. We also could not have asked for a more beautiful day and sunset; it was absolutely breathtaking! We even captured a shooting share in one of their portraits, which I still am in disbelief about (check that out towards the end of the blog). Kaylee and Mason also brought their sweet lab puppy, Colt, to their session to grab a shot at the end. Colt was so excited about being at Raven’s Roost and loved exploring, so we saved his pictures for the end to give him time to sniff everything out. haha.

Raven’s Roost was also packed the night we went for their session. We definitely had to get creative and work around a movie film crew, some other photography sessions, and some groups just there to enjoy the sunset. I think we nailed it though and I’m so glad that Kaylee and Mason were willing scale some rocks to get the perfect shot!
