Maggie and Jason’s Elegant Downtown Wedding is the most stunning wedding! This wedding is super special to me as I photographed Katy’s, Maggie’s older sister, wedding in 2019, and Caroline’s, Maggie’s younger sister, high school senior portraits in 2020. I just love Maggie’s entire family and I’m so thankful to have built such a sweet bond with them. I’m so blessed that they continually ask me to come back and photograph these precious life moments for them.
Maggie and Jason were supposed to be married in April 2021; but unfortunately, they had to postpone their wedding day until July 31 due to covid. Their July wedding day was so beautiful and everyone was so thankful that they were able to celebrate without having to adjust their day or cut down their guest list due to state regulations. Maggie & Jason both began the day by getting ready at The Virginian Hotel before their ceremony at Holy Cross Catholic Church just two blocks up the street. I love The Virginian Hotel and it created such a stunning backdrop for their photos. It’s always so fun when I’m able to photograph a wedding at such a gorgeous venue because there are always so many stunning options for portrait locations. Every detail of Maggie and Jason’s wedding dripped with elegance; it was such a classically beautiful wedding day!
I have way too many favorites from Maggie and Jason’s Elegant Downtown Wedding, so prepare for photo overload in this blog post!
Forever partial and obsessed with Badgley Mischka shoes!
Maggie had the cutest acrylic hexagon ring box!
A literal queen! Maggie could not have looked more beautiful!
Maggie and her older sisters have all tied their grandfather’s wedding band onto their bouquet so that he can walk with them on their wedding day even though he’s passed. Always my favorite detail.
Maggie’s dad is the sweetest! He was so excited to see his girl.
The Marigold cafe inside of The Virginian is the cutest! Their coffee and food are also so good!
The four most beautiful sisters! Love all of these sweet ladies.
Maggie’s precious neice!
I loved being able to go up to Skyline on top of the Virginian to take some portraits after the ceremony. Such a gorgeous view!
Jason’s sweet dad tearing up watching Jason dance with his mom.
I still don’t know this guest’s name, but he’s a queen. haha.
