I’m so excited to share Morgan & Matt’s summer Glass Hill Venue wedding on the blog! These two finally tied the knot at Glass Hill Venue and their day was sheer perfection. Morgan and I clicked right away when we initially met for our consultation and especially when we met for their engagement session (Check out their engagement session blog post here). Morgan is a special education teacher like myself, so we are truly kindred spirits! She is the absolutely sweetest and so thoughtful and fun; Matt is super laid back and so nice. They are both truly a joy to be around and it was a honor to capture their wedding day.
We had gorgeous weather for their day and everything went off without a hitch! They chose emerald green and purple as their wedding colors; the colors were incorporated so well throughout the entire day. Morgan spent so much time and effort hand making so many elements of their wedding day. She made her veil, shoes, bridesmaids gifts, and even needle pointed all of the centerpiece artwork and wedding signs. I was blown away my Morgan’s talent and how much time and skill required to make all of these things! There were so many fun and personal details throughout their wedding; everything was perfectly unique to who Matt and Morgan are as a couple.
Here are my favorites from their wedding day!
Morgan made her shoes so that they matched her wedding colors. How cool is that!?
Morgan is so crafty; she made herself and all of her bridesmaids these adorable cups for their getting ready mimosas.
Matt was so excited about wearing his Jordans for the wedding. All of the groomsmen had matches shoes as well; I loved them!
Morgan’s dad was so sweet and had the sweetest reaction to seeing Morgan in her wedding dress. First looks with dads are always one of my favorites parts of the wedding day.
Morgan & Matt had a unique idea for their first look; they combined a first look with their wedding party with their first look. It was such a fun way to share everyone’s reaction to seeing Morgan for the first time! They had their wedding party line up in front of Matt. They turned around first to see Morgan, while Matt stayed with his back turned and looking at all of their reactions. Once the wedding party had seen Morgan, we moved them over to the back patio and got ready for Matt to turn around and see his beautiful bride! The wedding party got to watch Matt’s reaction to seeing Morgan for the first time from the side; it was such a special moment for everyone!
The groomsmen were way too excited to do prom pose. lol
The infamous matching Jordan’s! They were so proud to show them off.
Morgan’s laugh is the cutest!
The most beautiful sunset!
Morgan needle pointed all of the centerpieces and I couldn’t be more obsessed! So unique and pretty!
My mouth was watering when I saw all of these Duck Donuts; they’re my favorite!
