Anna & Story’s Raven Roost engagement session is finally on the blog and I’m so excited to share this dreamy session with you all! Anna & Story are one of my 2022 wedding couples getting married at Moore’s Springs Manor in NC in May. I’m thrilled for their wedding next year; their venue is one of my absolute favorites to photograph.

For their engagement, we headed to Raven’s Roost Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Every session I do here is always breathtaking and the views of the mountains never cease to amaze me. When we arrived at the overlook, we could see a storm approaching from across the mountains further north; you could hear the thunder and see the rain and lightning. We were a little worried that the storm was going arrive much earlier than anticipated, but thankfully it held off and we ended the night with the most beautiful sunset full of spectacular colors. Anna & Story also brought their sweet pup Waffles; don’t you just die at how cute that name is!? Waffles is a precious French bulldog and he was definitely the star of the show in his cute little tux collar and tie.
