Allyson & Brandon’s Rustic Spring Wedding

Allyson & Brandon’s rustic spring wedding was absolutely breathtaking and I’m so excited to share their wedding on the blog! I think we had every weather scenario possible during their wedding day; we started with it being super hot and sunny, then overcast, back to sunny, sprinkling rain during family formals, back to sunny, and then overcast rain clouds during sunset. We were all so thankful that the sprinkling rain was very sparse and only lasted a minute or two before the sun came back out. Allyson & Brandon got the good luck that comes from rain on your wedding day, without it ever affecting their wedding day or portraits; the best of both worlds!

I was so honored that Allyson & Brandon asked me to photograph their wedding day! My husband, Matt, has been lifelong friends with Brandon and best friends with Brandon’s older brother, Blake. Blake and Brandon were also both groomsmen in Matt and I’s wedding! It’s always special when I get to photograph the wedding of a family member or friend, but it was extra special having Matt there as a guest and having so many other friends and family members in attendance.

Allyson made the most beautiful bride and her dress and veil were perfection! Every detail on their wedding was so beautifully thought out and flowed so well together. Allyson and Brandon were so excited to get married and all of their guests were just as thrilled for them. Their family and friends blended so well together and created the most loving and fun filled environment for their day. Their ceremony had multiple guests shedding tears and their reception had everyone on the dance floor. It was the perfect day!
