Lauren & Johnny’s Cedar Oaks Wedding

I’m so excited to share Lauren & Johnny’s Cedar Oaks Farm wedding on the blog! Their wedding day could not have been more beautiful; many laughs, tears, and sick dance moves made for the most perfect day! Lauren & Johnny got married at the stunning Cedar Oaks Farm venue in Bedford, VA. Cedar Oaks is a newer venue in our area and it does not disappoint! They have everything you need for a venue: a beautiful ceremony site, stunning mountain views, two beautiful getting-ready suites, and a stunning reception space. Everything at their venue is immaculate; Lauren & Jonny could not have picked a more beautiful location.

On top of the beautiful venue, we also had incredible weather on their wedding day! After a week full of extremely hot days and a chance of rain, we landed on an evenly warm and sunny day for their wedding! There was a thunderstorm that rolled through during their sunset portraits, but it was far back over the mountains. The storm moved over the Peaks and then Flat Top, leaving us with some beautiful light and clouds on the left of the mountains; this created the most beautiful sky for their portrait time during the reception. We were definitely moving quickly during sunset portraits to ensure the clouds didn’t completely cover up all of our remaining sunlight and to make sure the rain didn’t head our way before we were done. Lauren and Johnny were such troopers though and we were able to create such beautiful portraits during that time!

Lauren & Johnny, you both are such an incredible couple and individuals; I’m beyond excited for the both of you! Thank you so much for trusting me to capture your wedding day. I had an absolute blast with the two of you at your wedding and I’m so excited to share some of my favorite images from your day with you!
