Emily & Jeremy’s barn wedding is finally on the blog and it is such a good one! Emily are Jeremy are honestly the sweetest couple alive and I absolutely loved being able to photograph their wedding day! There are always certain couples that I just know they are meant to be together and Emily and Jeremy are one of those couples. They are just genuinely happy to be in one another’s presence and you can see how much they love one another.
They got married at The Barns of Kanak is Prince George, VA, a stunning venue outside of Richmond. I absolutely loved photographing at this venue and really hope I get to work there again. We had pretty rainy/cloudy day for their wedding day, but thankfully it stopped raining for most of the time we were taking portraits. Despite the rain, every aspect of their wedding was gorgeous! The venue, the florals, Emily’s gown, the wedding colors, the sentimental details, emotional moments, and the evident love between Emily & Jeremy were beyond dreamy. Emily even bought a second long veil just for portraits; a literal angel bride. Emily for sure shares my love for romantic veil portraits.
Here are my favorite images from Emily & Jeremy’s Barn Wedding.
Emily’s wedding gown is bridal goals! Absolute perfection!
Emily had the sweetest charm of her mom tied to her bouquet so that she could keep her close throughout the day. She also had fabric from her wedding dress wrapped around the stem. As someone who had a parent pass away before my wedding, these small details are the most special for me to capture.
Jeremy’s mom is the cutest! Look at her precious reaction to seeing Emily in her dress for the first time!
The guys were such troopers as it started raining during groomsmen portraits. If you look closely, you can see the rain falling in the photo below. haha.
Jeremy had the sweetest photo of him and his dad sewn onto the inside of his tie. I love these sentimental touches for loved ones that can’t be with you on the wedding day.
I am in love with Emily’s florals! The colors and flower choices were *chef’s kiss*!
There is truly no better way to end wedding party photos than Icing the groom and groomsmen!
Emily & Jeremy burred bourbon at the venue about a month before the wedding day in an attempt to prevent it from raining. Even though it still rained, they got to drink some Woodford Reserve, so I think it was worth it. haha.
Dreamy veil shots brought to you by Emily’s incredible second veil!
These cookies were SO cute and they tasted even better!
