Hannah & Matt’s Bella Rose Summer Wedding

 

Hannah & Matt’s Bella Rose summer wedding is one of my favorite weddings to date and I’m so beyond thrilled to share their day with you! They were married on June 4 on a beautiful, sunny, warm day at Bella Rose in Lynchburg. Hannah and Matt are high school sweethearts who have been together for 6 years; so this day is a long time coming for both of them! Hannah’s heart was set on getting married at Bella Rose from the time that they opened up. Matt knew this, so he chose to propose to Hannah at this very place. He lined the aisle with her favorite flowers and then had her walk down the aisle to him on one knee as he had music playing. The sweetest proposal ever and such great foreshadowing to their wedding day!

 

Hannah and her family are close family friends of my husband’s family. Hannah’s grandparents, Paulette and Clyde, lived right across the street from my husband’s grandparents up until very recently, so they all grew up very close. Also, My husband is also friends with Hannah’s brother, Alex, and grew up together. I was thrilled when Hannah reached out and asked me to photograph their wedding; it was an honor! Their wedding day also happened to be my birthday. There are few people who I would photograph a wedding on my birthday for and Hannah is one of those people!

 

Every part of their day was a fairy tale come to life; from Hannah’s stunning glitter ballgown to Matt’s heart-filled reaction to Hannah walking down the aisle. Hannah planned every meticulous detail of their day so perfectly and it was so beautiful to witness and photograph it all. Aside from their wedding day being beautiful, every moment of the day was filled with so much love and emotion. It was truly the most incredible wedding day I have been a part of; I most definitely cried several times along with everyone in attendance! They were surrounded by so much love and support from all of their family and friends; it was so evident by all of the happy tears and shed throughout the day.

Matt’s reaction to seeing Hannah was the BEST reaction I have ever witnessed and photographed! Everyone, including myself, was in tears.

Even Hannah’s nephew was in tears watching her walk down the aisle! The sweetest thing I’ve ever witnessed at a wedding. I was fogging up my viewfinder on my camera from crying myself!

Hannah, you looked like a true princess on your day, and Matt, it was so beautiful to witness the love you have for Hannah. Thank you so much for having me capture your day; I’m so incredibly happy for the two of you! I’m wishing you both many many years of happiness!
